Kenya – Pastor’s Conference

What a wonderful trip to Kenya! It was so great to reconnect with these pastors whom I have known and ministered with for the last 16 years.

162 pastors came from around Mt Kenya for the conference. It was a powerful time of teaching and ministry, as well as a time to share openly about challenges and struggles.

Hong Kong and China

What an honor to be with Pastors Sam and Lisa Song for their anniversary services at Solomon’s Porch in Hong Kong. I have known Pastor Sam since college and we have ministered in each other’s churches for years. What a blessing to spend time with him and Lisa and their precious children.

It is really wonderful to see the fruit and growth of Solomon’s Porch. There is such hunger and dedication in the church. Read more ›

Dominican Republic

This trip to the Dominican Republic was very special for me because I led a team of youth from our church and my daughter Ciera was on the team.

Our main focus was to build a home for a family. What a powerful experience! Words cannot describe the emotion we felt to see this family taken from a corrugated tin shack and given a solid home with a concrete foundation and furnishings.

El Salvador 2015

Dear Prayer Partners,

Thank you for keeping me in prayer for this last trip to El Salvador! I always say it, because it is so true and I am so grateful – when you stand in the gap for me, it really makes a difference! When I got home, someone asked me, “What happened in El Salvador? You were on my heart all week. God even woke me up in the middle of the night to pray for you!” When I hear things like that, I am deeply touched. Read more ›

Ivory Coast

Dear Prayer Partners,

That was a busy season – I ministered in 5 nations in 8 weeks. Thank you for standing with me in prayer!

This trip to Ivory Coast was another invitation from Bishop John Andoh to teach at his minister’s network, United Council of Christian Churches. It was a joy and an honor to serve him and Apostle Destiny, who was our host in Abidjan, the capital of Ivory Coast. Read more ›

Ghana, Togo, France

Dear Prayer Partners,

I am so very thankful for you! I have heard from quite a few people that I came to their minds on many occasions during this trip. Whatever they were doing, they would pause and pray. From the depth of my heart, I thank you. Only eternity will tell the difference those prayers made – protection during travel, safe arrival of luggage and teaching materials, health, anointing for ministry, wisdom to make decisions, etc. Thank you for responding to the leading of the Holy Spirit as He brought me to your mind. El Salvador 2014

What a wonderful trip to El Salvador! Thank you so much for remembering us in prayer. It really means a lot and it truly does make a difference.

It was an honor to serve alongside Pastor Chris Gonzalez, whom I have known for about fourteen years. I have a great respect for his ministry and I am always so blessed to minister with him.

Thank you for praying for safety. The crime and gang violence in El Salvador is one of the highest in the word. The presidential election took place while we were there, so that added to potential problems. But everything was peaceful and our drive to and from the mountains was a pleasant experience. Brazil/Ecuador – Redemptive Analogies

September 2013

As always, thank you so much for standing in the gap for this ministry. It truly makes a difference. Initially I was to accompany my friend Pastor Lisandro Gonzalez to minister in some meetings with him in Brazil. At the last minute, he was not able to go because of a family emergency, but Read more ›

Zanzibar/Kenya – Pastor Seminar and Breakthrough for Karatina

At the invitation of Bishop Daniel Kwilemba, I had the amazing privilege of ministering to pastors from all over the island. This was a very humbling experience. Words cannot even begin to express how honored I felt to share with these great men and women. Most of these pastors have had their churches burned or shut down at some point. Many of them are on a “hit” list. Assassinations can happen at any time, even in public settings.

Ghana/Togo – Pastor Seminars and Revival Meetings

What an amazing trip to Ghana and Togo! We can never underestimate the power of prayer! Having adequate prayer cover makes an enormous difference when it comes to ministry, travel and health.

Although this was my first trip to West Africa, I felt an immediate cultural connection both in Ghana and Togo. Many things converged in a beautiful way on this trip. Read more ›

Indonesia – Revival Meetings and Pastor Seminar

After fifty-nine hours of travel, nine different airports and a bus ride, I landed on the island of Papua in Indonesia! A few days before I arrived, a battle between two local tribes came to an end. Fought on the size of football field, only traditional weapons like spears, bows and arrows are allowed. Evidently the warriors fight with honor – breaks are even taken for lunch! The only problem with this “sport” is that people get killed!

Kenya – Healing for Karatina and Tribute to Bishop Andrew Kimaro

I have been ministering with the Pentecostal Evangelistic Fellowship of Africa for twelve years. On average, I have connected with them once or twice a year to minister at a conference. All this has been at the invitation of my close friend Bishop Andrew Kimaro, who went home to be with the Lord this last year. He truly was one of my closest friends in the ministry. I am astounded by all that he did for the Lord and I am very humbled and honored that I was able to have such a close friendship with him.

Korea – Deep Spirituality

We are still blown away by the opportunity that we had to travel to Korea and Hong Kong as a family. We have no way to express our gratitude to the people who wanted to specifically help pay for our whole family to go on this trip. It is just amazing and we are really touched. It was a “dream come true.”

Congo – A Deaf Person Hears

How do I describe the exhilarating privilege of ministering to a church of over 6,000 on-fire believers who worship and pray with intense passion? This is the context of l’Arche d’Alliance (Ark of the Covenant), an amazing church that is making a significant impact in the city of Kinshasa. Pastor Israel Nsembe Loyela, who is the General Overseer for the Assemblies of God in the DR Congo, leads this incredible church. L’Arche has also planted 13 other churches and is making an impact in their community with a school that has an enrollment of 1,228 children.

The Persecuted Church – No Geographical or Political Boundaries

Visiting and ministering in this nation was like stepping back in time. Untouched in many ways by modernism, this secluded country has kept globalization at a distance. Religious and cultural tradition is at the heart of insulation. But the Great News of Jesus is not limited by political and geographical boundaries.
