The Persecuted Church – Weeping for Leaders

I had the privilege of ministering to the persecuted church in an undisclosed nation in this area of the world. Along with me on this trip was Larry Peebles. His fellowship, intercession and ability to preach and minister was incalculable.

We joined Pastor Sam Song and his team from Hong Kong. Ministering in that context is very emotional because of the pressure that these believers face. People were touched in many ways, but I think the most powerful meeting was when we prayed over those called to ministry. We wept in prayer as we imparted to these leaders who may have to put their lives on the line for the sake of the Gospel.

We are so thankful for those covering us in prayer as we minister in these potentially volatile places. I don’t take God’s protection lightly.
